As a Facility Attendant, you are responsible for preparing the facility for use by guests while interacting with guests, staff and contractors in a positive and professional manner.

Responsibilities

Prepare the facility for use by guests by ensuring the facility and surroundings are safe, clean and presentable
Set-up (as per specifications) and take-down for rental clients
Monitor equipment and building conditions to ensure a safe and clean environment
Understand and carry out operational procedures for building emergencies, injury accidents, and room preparation
Skills and Abilities

Positive and professional attitude with strong communication skills in order to facilitate positive interactions with a diverse group of clients
Strong organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and ability to manage and balance a variety of interests and objectives
Excellent attention to detail
Qualifications

Minimum of Grade 10 education

Conditions of Employment

Ability and willingness to perform various types of physical labour including lifting, squatting, standing, carrying, pushing, and pulling (this is not a stationary/sedentary position – there is continual moving throughout every shift)
