About the Role
We are hiring skilled and reliable Attic Insulation & Mold Remediation Technicians (Installers) to join our home solutions division. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations and remediation services that improve energy efficiency, air quality, and overall home safety.
A valid drivers licence is require and week-end work.
This is a hands-on, field-based position ideal for individuals with construction, HVAC, or insulation experience who take pride in workmanship and want to be rewarded for productivity and performance.
This is a full-time independent contractor position with a commission-only pay structure. You will be working face to face at customers homes and topping up their attic insulation.
Attic insulation is a material barrier added to the top of a home—usually on the floor of the attic—to resist heat flow. It keeps warm air inside during winter and blocks heat from entering in summer, significantly improving energy efficiency, lowering energy bills by an estimated 10-50%. RPM@ Home Team provides customers with attic top ups of insulation performed by you the, insulation technicians
What You’ll Do
- Perform attic insulation installations (blown-in, batt removal/replacement, air sealing)
- Conduct mold remediation work including removal, treatment, and prevention measures
- Safely operate insulation blowing machines and related equipment
- Prepare job sites, protect customer property, and maintain clean work environments
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and contamination protocols
- Identify and communicate any structural or ventilation issues to the team or sales reps
- Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Interact professionally with homeowners and answer basic questions on-site
- Document completed work and job details (photos, reports, materials used)
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in insulation, construction, roofing, HVAC, or restoration is an asset
- Comfortable working in attics, confined spaces, and varying temperatures
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor daily
- Knowledge of mold remediation practices and safety standards is preferred (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a team and follow direction from crew leads
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Working at heights certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Compensation Structure
100% Commissions plus bonuses
Per Sale Commission:

- $150 – $500+ per completed job (based on size of job) - for attic insulations jobs
- $200 – $500+ per job depending on scope and complexity - for mold remediation jobs
