YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a stakeholder in the development of critical tools, influence on product development and follow-up in order to position itself as a center of expertise;
Carried out the design of tools and assembly equipment using a CAD tool (Catia) simultaneously with the development of the "Early stages" product;
Project management with teams: Identify, plan, design, design reviews, buy, modify and validate tooling and / or equipment in order to meet the prototyping deadlines (P1 and P3) of the production center (Pilot Hall);
Supported the "Design Review" of tools and equipment with the team in Juarez and QRO in order to secure the need, standardization and possible implementation of the latter.
In charge of the “Design Review” of tools and equipment with the engineering team (R&D) of Valcourt in order to either eliminate the need, ensure the obtaining of a “Poka Yoke by design » or to avoid technological support needs.
Promote the DFA "Design for assembly" vision to engineering in order to achieve organizational goals.
Coordinate effective communication between the various stakeholders and stakeholders of the groups concerned: Manufacturer Juarez, Valcourt Pilot Hall and engineering;
Supported and influenced the platform development process (BM2)
Get involved in continuous improvement;
Bachelor's or collegial degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field
English mandatory both oral and written - other language skills a plus (Spanish, French)
Increased knowledge and control of CAD software, CATIA is an asset;
Good command of Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and SAP.
