Support Worker – Group Home
This position is from 6PM Friday-6PM Sunday.

Position Overview
We are looking for a caring, dependable Support Worker to join our team in a residential group home setting. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support to approximately 10 residents, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and experienced in supporting older adults and individuals living with mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive, respectful relationships with residents by providing encouragement, companionship, and emotional support.
- Assist with the safe administration of prescribed medications in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare healthy, balanced meals that meet residents' dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment by completing routine housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
- Observe residents' well-being and communicate any concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Support residents in daily routines while promoting independence whenever possible.
Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in caregiving, residential support, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of safe medication administration practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assist with mobility and perform physical tasks as required.
- A compassionate, patient, and professional approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.
- Additional training or certifications related to health care or community support are considered an asset but are not required.

Pay: $219.64 per day
