Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, beverage preparation, and effective communication skills to create a memorable experience for our patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and hospitality
- Comply with all food handling, safety regulations, and licensing laws
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Sliverwafre POS and basic math skills for cash handling and tab management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods
- Understanding of food safety standards and food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable based on local regulations)
- Hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating a welcoming attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset
