We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our client's team. This role involves managing warehouse distribution tasks, operating various types of forklifts and clamp trucks, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge, experience with warehouse management systems, and the physical ability to perform heavy lifting. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Shift: Monday to Friday from 8am-4pm
Duties
- Operate forklift, clamp truck, and order picker equipment safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse
- Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately
- Use warehouse management system (WMS) software to track inventory levels and update records
- Conduct heavy lifting of goods and materials as required, adhering to safety protocols
- Manage warehouse distribution tasks including receiving, storing, and shipping products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment when necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics preferred
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating the Crown Walkie, Reach, Counterbalance and Turret Truck
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the shift
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
