This newly created position is responsible for providing administrative support for all aspects of the sales function and sales process for our Earth Moving Division. This includes but is not limited to logistics, ordering, quoting and invoicing.
Responsibilities
Support all members of the sales team and sales administration team to provide all required support
Place machine orders accurately, considering factory driven lead times and ensure machine components meet customer requirements
Manage factory relationships to facilitate the order process function in terms of follow-up, clarification of orders, resolution of order-related issues
Coordinate the release and shipment of the machines
Calculate machine cost considering different conversion rates and other parameters
Update ERP and Purchasing systems with machine details - As required, support with transfer pricing analyses, pricing reviews and sales forecast
Ensure necessary information is available from and for sales to drive planning and machine ordering
Troubleshoot complex sales orders
Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to sales, orders on hand and business activities
Conduct industry analyses as required
Support with inventory reconciliations
All general sales related administrative tasks
Other duties as assigned
Competencies
College completion preferred, working experience will be considered
Experience in order processing / accounting, a technical background is considered a strong asset
Highly detail oriented with demonstrated knowledge of capacity planning / BoMs, Product Costing, Material Requirement Planning and Delivery Logistics
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment
Strong use of Excel and standard computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Platforms
Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Experience in heavy equipment considered an asset
German or French language proficiency is a definite asset
