As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our established recipes and standards, ensuring that each dish is presented beautifully and served promptly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety practices are followed at all times.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
