Major Responsibilities
· Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications
· Fabricate and weld aluminum components to ELM standards
· Perform fit-up, assembly, and welding operations
· Work confidently with imperial and metric measurements
· Maintain quality control throughout production
· Quantify materials and communicate material requirements
· Maintain production efficiency and meet deadlines
· Operate and maintain fabrication equipment
· Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
· Assist other departments and support apprentices when required
Qualifications & Requirements
· Journeyman Welder Certification
· Valid CWB Certification
· 2–4 years of fabrication experience
· Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
· Strong attention to detail and quality focus
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Certifications
· Journeyman Certification
· CWB Certification
· WHMIS
· First Aid
· Forklift Operator
