Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, possess basic kitchen experience, and be committed to supporting our culinary team in delivering excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Support food service operations by restocking supplies and ensuring the timely availability of clean dishes and utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces.
- Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed.
- Support the overall efficiency of the kitchen by performing additional duties as assigned.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
- Basic cooking and meal preparation skills are a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy pots, dishes, packaged products.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and kitchen operations.
Pay: $15.90 per hour
