We are looking for an experienced Communications professional responsible for PR and internal communications for our Manitoba office. The ideal candidate should be…

A talented story-teller: you know how to find and tell a story in compelling ways to engage audiences, both internally and externally.
A messaging alchemist: you’ve mastered the nuanced art of taking ambiguous concepts and distilling it down into concrete messages to help your clients and audiences understand them better.
A fixer and a doer: For you,no problem is insurmountable, no issue is too complex, and no crisis is too overwhelming. You’re a self-starter that thrives on check-lists and white-boards crammed with ideas.
In this role, you will be working on things like: planning, implementing and managing PR and corporate communications projects and initiatives. You will be managing media relations for Manitoba and will be the general spokesperson, so media experience is required. You will also provide guidance to management and business partners on the most effective internal communications strategies to support organizational change and the employee experience.


5-7+ years of multi-sector experience in Communications strategy formulation, solution design and delivery.
University degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Journalism or Communications.
Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree in Journalism or Public Relations is an asset.
Self-directed, proactive and able to define and execute projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Media training and experience required.
Significant experience working with people in all levels of an organization.
Experience and knowledge of organizational change management theories and best practices.
