Landridge Homes is looking to employ a dedicated and experienced site supervisor to oversee construction projects and supervise the construction team. The site supervisor's responsibilities include ordering building supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Managing sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance.
- Quantify and track all materials inclusive of ordering, inspecting and verifying shipments from suppliers
- Provide all reporting requirements to project manager [progress reports, contract drawing discrepancies, labor timesheets, meeting minutes]
- Coordinating and overseeing all work on each designated jobsite
- Scheduling projects from start to finish and ensuring adherence to it.
- Resolve and mitigate any issues that may arise during construction
- Taking responsibility for equipment and materials on site.
- Following the project, timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.
- Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals.
Qualifications
- Extensive background in all phases of residential construction. Experience managing construction projects, strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems quickly is a must. The incumbent will utilize leadership skills to effectively instruct volunteers in construction methods.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with trades, suppliers, and other members of the team.
- Effective time management skills
- Highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in residential construction/project management
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract
Working Conditions
- Mostly working on sites, occasional requirements to work in main office
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (i e: hard hat, safety boots, etc.)
- Additional hazards associated with the construction industry.
