Position Overview: The Catering Assistant (Non-Food Bond) is responsible for packing the bonded items based on the packing list and galley loading plan provided by the airline. This position is crucial for facilitating the smooth operation of the bond function.
Reports to: Bond and Warehouse Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Pack bonded items accurately according to the provided packing list and galley loading plan.
- Follow galley diagrams and instructions as instructed by the supervisor.
- Adhere to the 5-S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) at workstations.
- Organize and clean workstations after flights are completed.
- Report any supply shortages or issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in ordering inventory replenishments from the Warehouse when needed.
- Maintain compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations, ensuring adherence to established standards.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Available to work during weekend
