JOB DESCRIPTION
The Electronics Assembler is responsible for completing general electronic assemblies and production assignments with a focus on quality and on-schedule delivery. The role requires the individual to have basic technical knowledge, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Work to precise specifications, processes and procedures to assemble electronic parts using a variety of tools and/or equipment.
- Read work orders, follow production drawings and receive verbal instructions in order to perform various mechanical assembly operations duties.
- Solder wires and other electronic components using tools, machines and equipment as required.
- Perform product inspections using instruments and test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with other staff with more complex assembly tasks.
- Provide technical assistance and support for troubleshooting issues related to electronics assembly operations.
- Other electronics assembly and QC related tasks as required in order to align with company QC program.
- Participate in company safety program and contribute to safe working environment.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?
- Two or more years of related experience with electronics assembly would strongly be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of electronic equipment assembly processes and specifications.
- Familiarity with electronic or mechanical equipment assembly.
- Quick problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
