Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Gas Station Attendant/Cashier to join our team for night shift position. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized station environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, purchases, and inquiries
- Operate POS systems for cash handling and processing payments efficiently
- Maintain accurate cash registers and perform basic math calculations for transactions
- Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience
- Restock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the station area is clean and organized
- Provide information about promotions or store services to customers
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and courteously
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience required; training will not be provided
- Strong communication skills in English
- Familiarity with Lotto,POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills required
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Ability to demonstrate good phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Experience in merchandising or product demos is advantageous but not mandatory
