We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and heavy industrial equipment.
- Maintain and service farm machinery, HVAC systems, and other mechanical equipment as needed.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair tasks.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for all team members.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.
- Assist in assembly or installation of mechanical components when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic; dealership experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Experience operating industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other heavy machinery preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and industrial equipment operation is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about repairs and services.
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to automotive repair or heavy equipment operation are desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
