Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Lead by example in delivering excellent guest service, ensuring all guests feel valued and attended to promptly
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including coordinating serving staff and managing table assignments
- Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
- Support team members with training on food service techniques, POS operation, and customer service best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of the food industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Toast POS, for order entry and cashiering functions
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, check splitting, and inventory calculations
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and guest services teams
- Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles preferred; kitchen experience is a plus
