Job Description:
Suntech Refrigeration & Food Services LTD is seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC/R Technician who is a 4th-year apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, excellent customer relation skills, the ability to work well with others, and the capability to work independently. The technician must be proficient in working on various types of commercial refrigeration equipment, including coolers, freezers, HVAC systems, ice machines, and other related equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment, including coolers, freezers, HVAC systems, and ice machines.
- Perform start-up of new refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with commercial refrigeration equipment and provide effective solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
- Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer instructions and company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and effectively communicate with clients to address inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other trades, and also independently as needed.
Qualifications:
- 4th-year apprentice in HVAC/R technology.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems and components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
