Job Summary
Looking for a reliable Part Time Weekend Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of commercial facilities during weekend hours. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, punctual, and capable of performing cleaning tasks efficiently to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. You would be required to clean for 7 hours Saturday and 7 hours Sunday (stat holidays 7 hours at time and a half), each shift there is a 30 minute unpaid break. The start time can be a bit flexible, around 8am start.
Location is not on a bus route during the weekend.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, washrooms, offices, and common areas
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, surfaces, and fixtures as needed
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads
