About us
Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role
Working with the contracts team, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration and management of contracts for our various projects and operations.
In this role you will:
- Assisting contract administrators with on-boarding contractors prior to work commencing at our sites
- Reconciliation of application for progress payments against the contract terms and conditions
- Assisting contract administrators with preparing change orders for in-and-out of scope items as required
- Assisting contract administrators with the close-out of contracts
- Assisting the contracts team members with monitoring KPI’s to drive contractors’ performance improvements.
Required:
- You are entering your third or fourth year as a university student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in commerce, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, data analysis and compilation, and organization skills.
- You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, and Excel.
