We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize manufacturing processes within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mechanical engineering, industrial equipment, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across production lines. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions using advanced CAD and automation technologies, ensuring the seamless operation of manufacturing processes.

Duties
- Lead the design and development of manufacturing equipment and systems utilizing CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and Schematics.
- Develop and program CNC machines, including CNC programming and troubleshooting to optimize machining processes.
- Integrate robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) into manufacturing workflows to automate tasks and improve productivity.
- Oversee welding, assembly, and other mechanical operations ensuring adherence to engineering standards and safety protocols.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to identify waste reduction opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create detailed schematics, CAD drawings, and technical documentation for new equipment or process modifications.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on project planning, execution, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and production staff on mechanical knowledge, schematics interpretation, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on automation, CNC programming, robotics, and industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Schematics, and general CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, CNC operations, welding techniques, and mechanical assembly.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across engineering, production teams, and suppliers.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
