Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage various HR functions as well as assist with accounting duties. You will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll processing. Your assistance will be required for some accounting duties. This role requires strong communication skills, project management abilities, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now. The Human Resources Administrator will play a vital role in supporting our management team, ensuring Health and Safety compliance and fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Manage talent acquisition processes and coordinate recruiting efforts from sourcing to interviewing.
- Facilitate employee onboarding, ensuring training & development programs to enhance staff skills and engagement.
- Support change management initiatives by developing communication plans and assisting with organizational transitions.
- Administer payroll processing through ADP Workforce Now to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery.
- Handle employee relations issues by providing guidance on HR policies and resolving workplace conflicts professionally.
- Assist in project management tasks related to HR initiatives; coordinate cross-functional activities to meet organizational goals.
- Maintain compliance for Health and Safety with employment laws and company policies through regular audits and documentation updates.
- Support recruitment activities by managing HR sourcing strategies and conducting interviews as needed.
- Support management team with performance appraisals for staff.
- Conduct disciplinary investigations and actions as required.
- Managing WSIB as needed and manage employee files
Experience
- 2 years proven experience in human resources administration or administrative roles within a hotel environment.
- Familiarity with Quick books system
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels and facilitating training sessions.
- Demonstrated ability with excel and data entry, reporting, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Prior experience in employee relations, recruiting, or human resources sourcing is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our organizational success.
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
