UHome Mart is a fast-growing retail company looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an expanding organization and help build our financial operations from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Prepare invoices, payments, and journal entries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with management on budgets, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding invoices and payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Canadian accounting standards.
- Support additional accounting and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is required.
- Experience in retail or inventory accounting is considered an asset.
