Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations before, during, and after shifts
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for billing, cash handling, and order processing
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
