About Us
Forage General is a popular local flower and gift shop in Salmon Arm and this summer, we're expanding into something new. Canvas is our boutique clothing pop-up, and we're looking for someone who loves style, people, and creating memorable experiences to help us bring it to life.
The Role
This is a seasonal, flexible position split between Forage General and our new pop up location called Canvas. You'll be on the floor helping customers find pieces they love, styling outfits, offering inspiration, and creating the kind of shopping experience people talk about. If this sounds like your passion, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Help customers put together outfits and feel great in what they wear
- Deliver warm, genuine customer service, sometimes solo, sometimes as part of a team
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Keep the space looking its best. Steaming clothes, organizing racks, tidying and light cleaning
- Support and help host special evening events
What We're Looking For
- A genuine love for style, fashion, and helping people feel confident
- Strong customer service skills and a hospitality minded attitude
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Cash handling experience and comfort with POS systems
- Available Saturdays and select evenings for events
- Valid driver's licence
- References available upon request

Comfortable in front of the camera.
Some social media experience. Not required, but a definite plus
Canvas is a pop-up boutique at Forage General in Salmon Arm, BC. We're a small, creative team who care a lot about the details in our space, our products, and the people we work with. We'd love to find someone who feels the same way.
