Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our hospital environment. This role involves monitoring hospital premises, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and experience in law enforcement or surveillance.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of hospital grounds and facilities to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security issues.
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV to observe activity and respond promptly to suspicious behavior or incidents.
- Enforce hospital policies related to safety, security, and loss prevention.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, or security breaches.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and document any unusual or suspicious activities.
- Control access points by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to handle security incidents.
- Assist in crowd control during large events or emergencies to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or surveillance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention strategies is preferred.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, visitors, and emergency responders.
