Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling, loading, unloading, and storage of goods. Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment using order picker tools and warehouse management systems
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting, moving, and stacking goods within the warehouse
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inventory counts and ensuring proper documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the facility
- Support construction-related tasks when required, including handling construction materials and equipment as needed
- Clean restrooms & around building
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments with familiarity in warehouse management systems
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and load/unload machinery
- Skilled in order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory control processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining proper ergonomics
- Construction experience or familiarity with construction materials is a plus
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and equipment operation standards
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
