Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with the ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with dealership experience and proficiency in welding, schematics, and assembly are highly preferred. A valid mechanic license is required to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using advanced mechanical knowledge and tools
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace vehicle components
- Interpret technical schematics and assembly instructions to accurately execute repairs
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and develop effective solutions
- Assist in vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle serviced
- Ensure all work is performed adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven mechanic experience, preferably within a dealership environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and diagnostic methods
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately
- Experience with assembly tasks related to vehicle repairs or parts installation
