Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, efficiently handling food and beverage orders, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves serving food and drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained throughout your shift. Experience in the food industry, particularly with Micros POS systems, is preferred but not required. Duties
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills and cash handling expertise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bar setup and breakdown
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in setting up for events or special occasions
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and time management skills
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent service quality
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and processing payments accurately
- Demonstrated time management skills to serve multiple guests promptly
- A friendly personality with a team-oriented attitude committed to creating a positive guest experience
