Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where hospitality and customer service are at the forefront.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and presentation
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed, demonstrating versatility within the food service environment
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification is advantageous
