Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, trucks, and heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for accurate repairs
- Operate heavy equipment safely during maintenance or repair procedures
- Repair or replace components using welding, mechanical assembly, or electrical techniques
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly to clients
Experience
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician with dealership or industrial background preferred
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other industrial machinery
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, electrical systems, and schematics is highly desirable
- Familiarity with farm machinery maintenance and repair processes
- Experience working with power tools, hand tools, and assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Prior experience in customer service roles within automotive or industrial settings is advantageous

Pay: $23.21-$36.50 per hour
