About the Role
As a valued member of our kitchen team, you’ll play a key role in crafting and presenting premium Mexican dishes made from the freshest ingredients and prepared with traditional techniques. This is your chance to learn, grow, and shine in a restaurant known for quality, authenticity, and warm hospitality.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook authentic Mexican dishes using traditional methods and premium ingredients.
- Execute daily prep efficiently to ensure smooth service throughout the day.
- Bake fresh breads, pastries, and traditional Mexican baked goods with consistency and care.
- Apply professional knife techniques for precise cuts, clean presentation, and optimal product use.
- Assemble and plate dishes with artistry, maintaining our high presentation standards.
- Handle catering orders with attention to detail, following specific menu requests and timelines.
- Maintain impeccable food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness across all kitchen areas.
- Collaborate closely with our culinary and front-of-house teams for seamless service.
- Receive, inspect, and store ingredients properly to ensure peak freshness.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to keep your skills sharp and inspired.
What We’re Looking For
- Food Safety Certificate (required).
- 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Experience preparing and handling authentic Mexican ingredients.
- Knowledge of baking, pastry and desserts, and professional knife techniques.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining top quality.
- Familiarity with various kitchen tools and equipment.
Physical & Work Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment.
- Flexible availability — weekends and evenings may be required.
