Responsibilities
Measure all garment samples according to specification sheet.
· record measurements and identify any discrepancies .
· Inspect samples for , sewing quality, construction, finishing, and appearance.
· Check seams, stitching, zippers, buttons, pockets, hems,etc....
· Ensure samples follow the approved specifications, and quality standards.
· Identify fit, measurement, construction, and workmanship issues and clearly communicate corrections required.
· Maintain accurate records of sample measurements, comments, and approvals.
· Work closely with the Technical, Fit, Production, and Quality Control teams.
· Follow up on corrected samples to ensure all previous comments have been addressed.
· Help ensure that approved samples are properly maintained and available as reference for bulk production.
Qualifications
· Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in quality control/assurance field in the garment import /apparel industry.
· Strong English written and oral communication skills.
· Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Experience in garment quality control, technical design, sample measuring, or apparel production.
· Strong knowledge of garment construction
· Ability to accurately measure garments and read specification sheets.
· Strong attention to detail
· Organized and able to manage multiple samples and priorities.
· Good communication and follow-up skills.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
