We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Business Development Associate with 1-3 years of operational background in machinery automation and/or bagging machine manufacture. The ideal candidate will utilize their technical expertise to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, foster strong client relationships, and support our sales team in driving growth and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential customers, and competitive dynamics.
- Assist in developing strategic plans to target new business opportunities and enhance market penetration
- Identify and engage with prospective clients through various channels such as industry events, networking, and digital platforms.
- Qualify leads and convert them into long-term business partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Leverage your expertise in machinery automation and/or bagging machine manufacture to support the sales team with technical insights.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Provide market feedback to inform product development and innovation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, client interactions, and sales progress in CRM systems.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the machinery automation or bagging machine manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in machinery automation and/or bagging machine manufacture.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Familiarity with VFFS equipment and the packaging industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
