We are seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join the Turf Hotel & Beer Store team. We are currently hiring for an Part-Time Day Beer Store/Front Desk Clerk. The ideal candidates will serve as the primary point of contact for hotel guests and store customers, providing exceptional service while ensuring the seamless operation of both the front desk and retail areas. This role requires excellent communication, strong multi-tasking abilities, and proficiency with POS systems and computer software. Responsibilities:
* Greet guests and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
* Manage hotel reservations and check-in/out procedures both in-person and via telephone.
* Provide attentive service to beer store customers while strictly adhering to all provincial and federal liquor laws.
* Handle daily clerical tasks, including email correspondence, phone inquiries.
* Maintain organized stock levels, accept inventory orders, and ensure products are properly faced in the beer store.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently to maintain high service standards.
* Keep the front desk area and store environment clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
* Adhere to company protocols and safety standards while working independently or as part of a team.
Qualifications:
* Strong computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software and POS systems.
* Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Effective phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
* Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or retail setting is highly preferred.
* Must be familiar with local liquor regulations and possess a valid "Serving it Right" certification.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as well as overnight shifts for the graveyard position.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
