About us
We are a very busy restaurant looking for a busser who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and can handle high volume. Knowledge of the German language is a bonus but not required. MUST have a valid work permit and already in Vancouver.
Responsibilities: - Clearing and resetting tables in a timely manner - Assisting servers with delivering food and beverages to guests - Refilling water glasses and providing additional condiments as needed - Removing used dishes and utensils from tables - Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and dining areas - Assisting in maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant, including sweeping and mopping floors - Assisting in restocking supplies in the dining area and server stations Experience: - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting - Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques - Familiarity with the food industry and kitchen operations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Skills: - Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude - Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area - Basic food handling knowledge, including proper handling of dishes, glassware, and utensils - Willingness to help out wherever needed in the restaurant - Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices - Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic restaurant environment with potential for growth within the company.
