Credit & Collections Analyst Western Canada
Credit Management
- Review and assess new customer credit applications, trade references, and financial information.
- Establish and monitor customer credit limits in accordance with company policies and risk tolerance.
- Maintain accurate customer credit files and supporting documentation.
- Recommend credit holds, limit adjustments, or other risk mitigation measures when necessary.
- Monitor customer credit exposure and identify potential risks proactively.
Collections & Accounts Receivable
- Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances, payment delays and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to resolve issues/ disputes impacting collections
- Maintain detailed collection records and account notes.
Analysis & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support month-end close activities through timely account reconciliations
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable (must have)
- Experience - distribution or supply chain environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, collections practices, customer account management, and AR processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems; good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Education & Credentials
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Credit or collections certification (e.g., CCP, CIC) is considered an asset

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment in credit-related decisions.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
Work hours: M-F 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. EST
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
