We are looking for a Business analyst to join us!

Sanimax is currently looking for a Business analyst with experience in the in the manufacturing or transport industry. The desired candidate will have demonstrated his ability to be a leader in the reengineering and simplification of business processes.

The Business Analyst position is primarily responsible for:
Leading key Sanimax business initiatives that touch people, processes and systems, and is wholly responsible for:
Eliciting the key business imperatives;
Planning and monitoring performance;
Analyzing enterprise-wide impacts and changes;
Documenting the functional and non-functional requirements;
Identifying and assessing the best-practice, global, optimal and validated solutions;
Preparing and validating all related content (process, training or other);
Ensure post-operational sustainability, governance and compliance, and
communicating and coordinating any and all activities to effectively deploy the solution working with cross functional groups, both internally and externally, across multiple locations.
Have a clear understanding of the business and the critical success factors that allow the company to win.
Establish and maintain a solid relationship with the various business units and districts.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Sanimax Application and Process Portfolio favoring investments in more strategic enterprise systems and processes.
Maintain a thorough understanding of current business processes within the Business Analyst’s specialty and understand the function’s desired future state.
Use standard process management techniques to map and document processes and model current and future states.
Serve as a liaison between business users, the IT team responsible for managing the systems as well as 3rd party vendors when applicable.
Guide the Business Application Specialists and Super User Network on how to use established process improvement concepts and methodology.
The following responsibilities are to be carried out on a continuing basis for the Business Analyst’s user community:
Actively participate in the growth of the organization through involvement in mergers and acquisitions, sales efforts, product development and organizational infrastructure enhancements.
Implement and adhere to Sanimax’s Change Management methodology, standards and processes on all projects to ensure consistent quality.
Be on the lookout for technologies regarding business processes to meet strategic goals through a conceptual understanding of technology and strong business insight and experience while establishing appropriate expectations and controlling scope.
Define user requirements, create use cases, and author requirements documents by performing user interviews, joint application development sessions and industry research.
Work with the different stakeholders to help design solutions and create storyboards.
Conduct and participate in usability and application reviews with the users.
Perform other duties as required.

Travelling % and description:
Travelling will be required to all of our North American facilities for projects and training purposes.
The percentage of travelling will vary upon the needs of different projects.

Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines;Sitting for extended periods of time;
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components;
Physically able to conduct and participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings;

Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science or equivalent work experience in an operational role;

At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role, performing business analysis on large-scale, enterprise-level business initiatives;
Proven experience working with ERP systems and environments, as well as modeling, reengineering and optimizing business processes;
Proven experience authoring approach and vision documents that clearly set business and user expectations, project strategies, approaches and plans to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery within timelines and budgets;
Experience eliciting business requirements, designing best-practice solutions, defining optimal user acceptance test strategies and use cases as well as documenting business process and training material. Proven experience implementing these on multiple cross-disciplinary initiatives;
Strong experience developing long-term relationships based on respect and trust with prospects and existing users and clients.
Experience in finance business analysis, having worked on major projects about budgeting process, financial reports, consolidation, mergers and acquisitions. Being familiar with period end process, journal entries and various components of the financial sector;
Experience in manufacturing business analysis, having worked with inventory management and reconciliation, product lifecycle, yield, capacity and quality control. Being familiar with optimization of the manufacturing processes.
Experience in transport business analysis, having worked on major transport reengineering projects and routing optimization. Having worked on fleet and costs optimization.
