Balance Physiotherapy is thrilled to be adding a Registered Massage Therapist to our team. We are a compassionate group of therapists who pride ourselves with fostering a collaborative environment while providing exceptional care to the community. We are looking for someone who is a critical thinker and seeks opportunities to be challenged. Our fantastic team includes highly qualified Physiotherapists, an Occupational Therapist, a Chiropractor, a Registered Massage Therapist and a strong administrative support staff.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the delivery of massage therapy to patients with a wide variety of neurological conditions, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke. Treatment of other conditions such as post surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain can also be expected.
- Maintains current and accurate clinical records according to standards set by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
- Communicates pertinent information and recommendations to clients and/or care providers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Individuals with 2+ years experience working with individuals with neurological or complex conditions will be given preference, but new graduates with a keen interest in neuro-rehabilitation are welcome to apply
