Purpose:
The Summer Student position works in a support function within the relevant department in an administrative and/or a technical capacity. It provides the student with the opportunity to develop relevant skills and experience and receive experiential on-the-job training, guidance and mentorship.
Education:
Must be a current student.
Experience:
Cleaning experience is an asset.
Skills:
Excellent proven customer service and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to obtain and relay accurate information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment, good problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities. Ability to handle high work volume. Ability to handle a high volume of repetitive work. Ability to meet frequent and tight deadlines.
Additional Notes:
Successful completion of mandatory orientation & training required. Safety shoes required - to be provided by the incumbent.
