Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves figuring out how things work? We are looking for a safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our team. Whether you’re an experienced tech or someone with a solid mechanical aptitude looking to grow your career, we provide the environment and the tools for you to succeed.
In this role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our plastics production facility, ensuring our automated systems run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This role will also be a part of the Maintenance department and you will be cross trained.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine upkeep and emergency repairs on automated plastics equipment.
- Setup & Calibration: Configure machinery for production runs, ensuring everything is dialed in for maximum quality.
- Power Transmission: Work on the "guts" of the machines - Gears, belts, pulleys, and drive systems.
- Light Fabrication: Use your skills to modify or create small parts when a custom solution is needed.
- Safety First: Maintain a spotless safety record by following LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and industry best practices.
What You Need to Succeed
- The Basics: Proficient with standard hand tools and power tools.
- Mechanical Mindset: A fundamental understanding of how mechanical systems interact.
- The Right Attitude: We value a "growth mindset." If you don't know the answer, you’re the type of person who is hungry to learn it.
- Detail Oriented: In a plastics plant, precision matters. You take pride in doing the job right the first time.
Why Join Us?
- Safety Culture: We don’t just talk about safety; we live it. Your well-being is our #1 priority.
