Why is this role important?
The Specialist, SAP Assortment will be responsible for creating and maintaining assortment in SAP via Layout modules. Become a knowledge expert on Assortment in the business, and be responsible for the accurate maintenance of assortment assignments. Work closely with internal teams to ensure that assortment needs are met while maintaining assortment standards. What You'll Do:
Create and maintain SAP Layout Modules according to the standards set out by the Assortment team.
Create and maintain Seasonal Layout modules according to the standards set out by the Assortment team, while meeting the Category needs for assortment.
Liaise with a variety of internal colleagues in Category, Live Assortment, Data Operations, Merchandising & Promotional Planning teams.
Work with Category teams to understand assortment strategy and incorporate it into existing assortment structure and design according to the standards set out by the Assortment team.
Generate assortment integrity checks and ensure resolution of issues before processing assortment changes.
Maintain site to cluster/Layout Module assignments for assortment transitions (ex. Store Flips, Banner Conversions, Renovations)
Conduct in depth assortment review for validity and accuracy of data and provide insights and recommendations to optimize assortments
Lead meetings with merchandising partners to discuss opportunities to remove DNO’d articles to ensure that data reflects current category strategy
Communicate, prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner, and escalate to Management as required.
Educate Category Management on the Assortment process, options, tool functionality and benefits and identify any training needs where persistent training gaps exist and/or lead/faciliate regular touchpoint meetings as needed.
Identify process or SAP enhancement opportunities and report any defects or issues.
Support ad-hoc projects, reporting, etc as dictated by business needs
What You'll Need:
1-2 Years working experience within an SAP environment
Working knowledge of SAP Assortment an asset or comfort learning
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel.
Analytical and reporting skills, which support effective decision making and problem solving.
Comfort communicating to a variety of teams and levels.
Proven ability to respond to new situations and work in a change orientated environment with a focus on details.
Able to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
