Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Phone Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, managing phone inquiries, and supporting restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and customer interactions, with a strong focus on hospitality and food safety standards. This position offers an engaging environment where excellent communication and multitasking skills are essential to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
- Handle phone inquiries, reservations, and take-out orders professionally.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and processing payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, kitchen stations, and service areas.
- Assist with food preparation and food handling as needed, adhering to food safety protocols.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Support team members during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management and teamwork skills.
Skills
- Experience with POS systems

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and transaction accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or calls efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance the guest experience.
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for our guests while supporting smooth restaurant operations through excellent service delivery and effective communication.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
