Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and coordinate civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction management, and a solid understanding of blueprint reading and schematics. This role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring quality control, managing budgets, and maintaining safety standards on-site. The Civil Supervisor will play a key role in delivering projects efficiently, on time, and within scope while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
- Oversee daily site operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce management
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution
- Assist with construction estimating and budgeting to ensure project cost control
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve issues promptly
- Monitor progress against project milestones and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and quality control processes
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with teams and stakeholders
- Construction-related certifications or training are preferred but not mandatory
- A valid driver’s license is required for site visits and supervision purposes
Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
