Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lube Technician to join our fleet service team. This role is essential in maintaining vehicle performance through efficient lubrication and basic maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with automotive repair. Prior mechanic experience is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform grease and lube application to all our transport trucks, trailers, heavy equipment.
- Conduct basic inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to service vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during vehicle servicing
- Ability to work independently and to maintain an up-to-date record of truck and trailers that have been greased and those that are still pending.
Experience
- Previous work experience in this field is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as part of routine tasks
- Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and maintenance procedure
