We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in running the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a smooth workflow.
*Duties*
- Supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new dishes
- Assist in training kitchen staff on proper techniques
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a food service environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Experience in restaurant management is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
