Rayes Auto Repair is a new, fully equipped ~ 6,300 sq ft collision & mechanical facility in Oakville, Ontario. We operate with a downdraft heated spray booth, 3 lifts, frame equipment, diagnostic systems, tire machines, and all new shop infrastructure.
We repair collision vehicles, handle mechanical work, perform safety inspections, and service our in-house dealership inventory.
Our shop is expanding fast — and we are looking for a full-time 310S Licensed Technician to join the team.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team in providing exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, excellent mechanical knowledge, and experience working in a complete auto repair facility environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to quality service and customer satisfaction. The position involves performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring safety and reliability for our customers.
Duties
- Conduct Safety Inspections
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues
- Perform repairs including engine work, brake service, suspension, and transmission repairs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
- Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement as needed ,or work alongside the collision team on teardown & reassembly
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly to clients
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience, preferably with dealership background
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills for customer interactions and teamwork
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics software is a plus (All Data, Mitchell)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ontario 310S License (mandatory)
- Strong diagnostic & electrical skills an asset
- Valid Ontario driver's license
- Own basic tools (specialty tools provided)
- Good work ethic, reliability, and professionalism

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
