Great Gyros & Pita Ltd. is looking for reliable and hardworking Production Workers to join our food production team. This is a hands-on role in our meat processing facility, producing and packaging various meat products in a fast-paced environment.
The production area is refrigerated, with temperatures ranging from +4°C to +8°C in coolers. Minimal work may be required in the freezer at -20°C. Candidates must be comfortable working in a cold and wet environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the operation of mixing and grinding machines
- Measure and add ingredients into mixers
- Pack finished products into bags and boxes
- Transport raw materials and finished products
- Check product quality and packaging
- Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable working in refrigerated conditions
- Able to lift up to 23 kg / 50 lbs when required
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn food safety and sanitation practices
- Driver’s licence is considered an asset
