Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Furnace & Duct Cleaning Helper to join our team. This role involves assisting with the cleaning, maintenance, including furnaces and ductwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in mechanical systems, with a focus on safety and quality service delivery. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the field , supporting the team in ensuring optimal indoor air quality and system efficiency.
Duties
- Assist with cleaning and inspecting furnaces, air ducts, and ventilation systems using appropriate tools and techniques
- Help perform routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment
- Assist with minor repairs such as appliance repair or mechanical adjustments
- Maintain a clean work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Support the setup of equipment for boiler or plumbing-related tasks when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience or familiarity with duct cleaning, is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Mechanical knowledge or background in maintenance, construction, or as a mechanic is advantageous
- Experience with schematics interpretation and basic appliance repair is a plus
- Previous work involving duct cleaning is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and an eagerness to develop technical skills in furnace and duct maintenance
