Reporting to the HSE Lead, the HSE Administrator will be responsible for providing support to the HSE team.

This position is based on a client site in the Fort McMurray area.

Working Conditions

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

No camp or LOA provided.

Site bussing from town.

Responsibilities

Leadership

Demonstrate the Promise and contribute to it becoming embedded across the organization.

HSE Administration

Support the HSE Lead and Advisors.

Prepare, format, publish and store HSE documentation.

Upload documentation into Optic and Client Enablon.

Maintain HSE records, logs, statistics, metrics, and training matrix.

Assist with WCB administrative tasks.

Manage calls, uses various computer software to assist in preparing stat reports, rolling action logs and communication documents.

Assist in Orientation processes by scanning HSE documentation into online system and updating employee files.

Operate photocopiers, computer scanning equipment and filing, manages overall HSE paperwork through document control processes.

Assist with booking training and organizing training requests, internal and external classes.

Build service relationships with HSE Advisors and Supervisors.

Qualifications

HSE Administrator Certificate through the ACSA

Excellent computer knowledge with proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite programs

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with diverse personalities and work force

Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups

Strong written and oral communication skills

Detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful, with strong time management skills

Comfortable meeting aggressive internal and external deadlines, without compromise to quality or accuracy of work

Ability to remain objective and maintain a factual perspective when dealing with questions and inquiries

Sense of urgency and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment

Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
